<logic>Para la especialización de estos objetos de conservación se emplearon diferentes fuentes, entre ellas el documento titulado "Distribución, amenazas y esfuerzos de conservación de las tortugas marinas en el pacífico colombiano" del INVEMAR, el cual describe principales playas de todo el pacifico colombiano con limites medidos directamente en campo con GPS. También detalla zonas entre elementos cartográficos fácilmente identificables como desembocaduras de ríos y accidentes geográficos. Con la ayuda de interpretación visual de fotografías aéreas- FA e imágenes del satélite landsat 7 de la zona del golfo de Tribugá y con el apoyo de una experta en geología se realizó un ejercicio para corregir la zona costera del municipio de Nuquí.</logic>
